Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 August 2026
1. Who is responsible for your information?
CTP Company Services, owned by Gareth Morgan, is responsible for personal information collected through this website.
Contact: garethmorganctp@yahoo.com · +44 (0)7754 002875
Address: Bryn Ivor, Twyn Gwyn Road, Cwmfelinfach, Near Newport, Gwent, UK.
2. Information we collect
We may collect your name, company or university, business email address, telephone details you provide, machine type and serial number, enquiry and fault information, photographs or video you choose to send, quotation and transaction records, correspondence, review content, and Remote Service Agreement contact and renewal information.
For website security, we also process limited technical information such as a shortened or encrypted visitor identifier, submission time and security events.
3. Why we use it
- To respond to enquiries and prepare quotations.
- To supply parts, repairs, training, manuals and support services.
- To confirm access under a Remote Service Agreement.
- To maintain technical case histories and customer correspondence.
- To prevent spam, misuse and unauthorised access.
- To meet accounting, tax and other legal duties.
- To consider customer reviews for publication where permission has been given.
4. Lawful bases
We generally process information because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract, to perform a contract, to meet a legal obligation, or for legitimate business interests such as customer support, record keeping and website security. Where publication of a review relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.
5. Who receives information?
Information may be handled by service providers that support website hosting, security, email delivery and business communications. Enquiry details are delivered to Gareth Morgan for review. We do not sell personal information.
Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where required, appropriate contractual or legal safeguards are used.
6. How long we keep it
- Unsuccessful or general enquiries: normally up to 24 months.
- Customer, agreement, quotation, invoice and completed case records: normally up to six years after the relationship or matter ends, unless a longer period is legally required or needed for a continuing technical history.
- Reviews: until removed or permission is withdrawn.
- Bot-protection request logs: normally no more than 24 hours.
7. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, transfer of your information, or object to its use. You may withdraw consent where consent is the lawful basis. Email Gareth Morgan to make a request.
Your right to object: you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Your request will be considered against any compelling legitimate or legal reasons for retaining the information.
You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
8. Automated access checks
The website automatically compares an email address with the current Remote Service Agreements register. This only controls access to the technical enquiry form and does not make a legal or similarly significant decision. If access is refused in error, contact Gareth Morgan for a manual check.
9. Updates
This policy may be updated when the website or legal requirements change. The latest version will always appear on this page.
